Learning to type smoothly and blindly gives children — especially with dyslexia, dyspraxia, or concentration difficulties — breathing room at school. Silke is a certified Typ 10 coach and teaches children touch typing through play in small groups over 10 sessions.

What are typing lessons exactly?
Typ 10 is a structured, scientifically substantiated method to teach children touch typing. It was developed from therapeutic insights into how children learn motor skills, and consciously appeals to multiple learning channels: seeing, hearing, feeling, imagination, and memory.
What does this mean in practice? In about 10 lessons of one hour, children learn to find the keys blindly and smoothly. Because it takes place in small groups, there is room for tailored guidance. An online module (with a two-year license) also lets your child practice and play at home.
Important distinction. Typing lessons are not therapy for a disorder, but a skills training. They are extra valuable for children with dyslexia, dyspraxia, fine motor or automatization problems, and children with ADHD or ASD — precisely the children for whom typing smoothly removes many barriers.
Evaluation & testing
Typing lessons are a series of lessons, not an assessment. Instead of a speech therapy report, we work towards an exam and a diploma.
10 lessons of 1 hour in small groups, where your child learns to touch-type playfully through images, colors, and rhymes.
Through an online practice platform, your child continues to practice at home at their own pace — repetition makes typing smooth and automatic.
At the end of the series, your child takes a typing test: touch-typing, with a smooth speed and sufficient accuracy.
Those who pass receive a Typ 10 diploma [te bevestigen] — a wonderful recognition of what your child has learned.

No. Typing lessons are a skills training — you can simply register without a diagnosis or prescription.
